What we collect

DeskDNA does not collect personal information by default. We do not require account creation, do not ask for your name or email address, and do not store any form submissions on our servers. The setup generator runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never sent to us. The one exception is our optional annual survey, described below.

Optional surveys

From time to time we run an opt-in survey, such as the State of the Home Office report. These surveys are hosted on Google Forms, not on DeskDNA's own servers — your responses are stored and processed under Google's privacy policy, not ours. Participation is entirely optional and separate from the rest of the site, which collects nothing by default.

If a survey asks for your email, it is only to send you the published results, and only if you choose to provide it — we do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share survey responses with anyone. To have a response removed, email hello@deskdna.com with the survey name and the email address you used, if any.

Cookies & analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across websites, and is fully GDPR-compliant. Plausible collects only aggregate traffic data (page views, referrers, country) — no personal identifiers are ever stored.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the site free. We only recommend products we genuinely believe are the best options at each price point — affiliate commissions do not influence our recommendations.

DeskDNA is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

Third-party links

Our site links to Amazon and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
